Recently, our founder Scott had the opportunity to share 4Q!’s story on CBS’s “Wake Up with Marci & Hilary”, a mawnin tawk show known for its lively discussions and vibrant personalities. Marci & Hilary didn't hold back in their praise for 4Q! Coffee, describing it as “a brand brewing a serious attitude and delivering a vital message”. The audience was first introduced to the brand during a product gift segment on March 16th, but it was Scott’s comprehensive interview on March 23rd, 2024, that truly brought the essence of 4Q! Coffee to light.
During the interview, Scott dove into the roots of 4Q! Coffee and what the brand truly stands for. With the energy of a true New Yorker, he explained how 4Q! is more than just a cawfee brand, it's a reflection of the city itself - as we say here at 4Q! - Great Cawfee, New York 4Qin’ Attitude. The hosts were curious about the meaning behind “4Q” means. Scott went on to explain with a touch of New York attitude, “like it sounds”, “4Q” means “FU” (especially when you say it in a New Yawk accent!). Saying “FU” here in New York can be a term of endearment, or it can be the ultimate expression of the New Yawk attitude. We use it as both - hence 4Q! Coffee was born!
But, 4Q! Coffee is more than just a beverage – it's a mission. As Scott passionately explained, the brand is first responder-owned and family-operated, with a deep commitment to giving back to those who serve the community. Drawing from his own experience as a firefighter in New York, Scott understands the challenges and sacrifices that come with the job. It's this intimate knowledge that inspired him to create a brand that not only delivers quality cawfee, but also supports the brave men and women who put their lives on the line every day.
As viewers savor a cup of 4Q! Coffee, they’re invited to reflect on the story and values it represents. And, the next time you take a sip of our cawfee, remember our 4Qin’ values - a love for the city, a nod to New York's boldness, and a heartfelt thank you to the courageous first responders dedicated to our safety and well-being. Thanks for 4Qin’ havin us, Marci & Hilary!
